I think MAC lipliners are definitely worth the hype as the staying power is unreal. It works so well with my beloved Velvet Teddy lipstick.
A dupe from a company that does good liners. When I’m going for a brown/ peach toned nude lip I tend to reach for MAC Spice £15. This is why there is no con for this situation.
I already own 3 other Barry M liners as they are very creamy and just pleasant to put on.
And now that there’s a dupe for £2.99 (Basically 3 quid) you can happily purchase 4 of these and it will still be cheaper than the Mac liner. Honestly, would tell you to get this, you will love it. However, very very complimentative to my brown ladies.
I find on a good skin day I can quickly look ‘done up’ just with a good lip colour without applying anything else. I am a lip product hoarder, if I had to choose any makeup item it’d be a lipstick/liner/gloss. They are almost identical in colour with a slight difference in undertones. 9/2/16 unfiltered swatches & lip application. comparable to my mac lip liners- it has great staying power and blends great on hydrated lips. Price: Rs.1400 INR ( grab asap, because MAC is set on a further price hike) VNA Rating: 4/5. long lasting, smooth application, and doesnt dry my lips out perfect. So when I heard Barry M’s Russet (5) Liner was a dupe I had to buy it and see for myself. Cons of MAC Whirl Lip Liner: The texture is more on the dry side Seems to tug on the lips (but come on its winters) Expensive, like one hell of an expensive lip liner, and MAC prices are being hiked further MAC Whirl Liner Review.
(Absolutely dislike one a pro longwear one – not worth it) So one of my fave lipliners, in general, is the Spice liner, I’m still on my first one but it’s slowly shrinking. Overdraw your lips, accentuate your cupid’s bow, or choose a nude lip liner to create a natural fuller lip - your liner can be used in countless. This is why I own only 4 Mac Lipliners and probably won’t invest in one unless it’s bomb ass colour. Spend £3 more and you could buy a lipstick. I love Mac lip liners but £12.50 for a lip liner is a bit absurd. Especially when you’re a student or just careful where you spend your money. The texture is also surprisingly nice, and it contains a ton of product for less than a dollar. Now, as much as I love Mac and all their products, they can be a little pricey. WnW liner in 666 (I can't remember the actual name of it) is pretty spot on for MAC lip liner in Spice.
